How Shabnam Naz Ansari Turned Trauma and Regrets Into The Volunteer Well

Shabnam Naz Ansari has had her share of traumatic experiences. She was born, raised, married, and became a mother in Pakistan but years of emotional and physical abuse took its toll, and she made a life-changing decision she still regrets today. But she hasn’t let those experiences define or limit her. Shabnam worked for over 27 years in senior management positions on two continents in finance and human resources, and, in her new home country of Canada, she’s built a successful insurance firm with her current husband.

Shabnam is also the Founder and CEO of a Canadian federally registered charity called ‘The Volunteer Well’. Her journey to creating Volunteer Well is rooted in the deeply personal and devastating life experiences she shares with us during this episode of the podcast.

Since then, she’s made it her mission to create a platform to strengthen families, connect communities, and unite humanity.
